Calvora privacy policy

Effective date: April 27, 2026

Overview

Calvora is a calculator and productivity app with optional professional tools, cloud sync, account sign-in, file encryption, camera tools, voice input, widgets, and financial calculators.

Information stored on your device

Calvora stores calculation history, settings, pinned tools, workspaces, custom constants, and related app data on your device. Calvora disables automatic Android backup for app data. You can use the app's explicit cloud sync, export, or local backup tools when you want to move data.

Account and cloud sync

If you sign in, Calvora uses Firebase Authentication to identify your account. Depending on the features you enable, Calvora may sync calculation history, settings, pinned tools, workspaces, constants, and sync metadata through Firebase services associated with the app.

You can use Calvora without signing in. Some cross-device features require an account.

Camera, microphone, and files

Calvora requests camera access only when you use camera-based tools, such as equation scanning or camera measurement. Camera measurement is processed locally for the tool experience. Equation scanning uses ML Kit text recognition.

Calvora requests microphone access only when you start voice input. Audio is used to turn speech into a calculation command through the speech recognition provider available on your device.

Calvora processes selected files only when you choose them. File encryption creates encrypted files on your device. The app doesn't automatically upload your selected files.

Web tools

Calvora can open web services, including Gemini and YouTube, inside the calculator display. Those services are operated by their respective providers and may require sign-in. Their own privacy policies apply to activity inside their web pages.

Diagnostics

Release builds may use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostics. Crash reports help identify and fix stability problems. Crash reports are not intended to include your calculation history.

Data sharing

Calvora doesn't sell user data. Data may be processed by service providers that support app functionality, including Google/Firebase services used for sign-in, cloud sync, and crash reporting.

You can explicitly share calculations, history exports, encrypted files, or other content through Android's share sheet.

Data deletion

You can delete local history and app content from inside the app. If you use an account, you can sign out or delete the account from the profile/settings area. Synced cloud data deletion depends on the production Firebase configuration and support process.
